About Faces Med Spa Radiofrequency Microneedling Treatment

Spring Into Radiance:

Renew, Refresh & Smooth Your Skin with RF Microneedling, Neurotoxin Treatments and Derma PRP Bio Filler Treatments ✨

Radiofrequency Microneedling to the neck area performed at About Faces Med Spa

As we age, collagen production slows down and existing collagen breaks down. Approved by the FDA in 2016, Radio Frequency (RF) Microneedling can help promote collagen production in the skin being treated. Anyone hoping to reduce wrinkles and have smoother skin should consider (RF) Microneedling.

While traditional microneedling uses very  tiny needles to create channels in the skin, triggering the production of capillaries, elastin, and collagen, RF Microneedling adds radio frequency waves to the microneedling procedure. The radio waves add heat energy, providing greater results.

RF Microneedling is an excellent solution for anyone seeking a non-surgical and non-invasive option to rejuvenate their appearance. After undergoing RF Microneedling, the skin appears more radiant, youthful, and healthy. Unlike many surgical procedures, there is minimal downtime or side effects. You can resume your normal daily activities shortly after leaving the About Faces office.

Agnes Radiofrequency

One innovative type of radio frequency microneedling was developed by Agnes Medical and is known as Agnes RF. Agnes RF uses a device which allows the doctor to customize treatment based on the patient’s specific individual needs.

Whatever type of RF microneedling you choose, the addition of radio frequency provides benefits beyond traditional microneedling. When radio frequency technology is used in conjunction with microneedling, the effects have been shown to:

  • Treat a wider range of cosmetic issues

  • Require very minimal downtime

  • Treatments can be easily customizable for specific cosmetic issues

Neurotoxin Treatments

Vials of Botox at About Faces Cosmetic Surgery Med Spa

Botox, DAXXIFY, and Dysport are all injections used to temporarily reduce wrinkles and dynamic lines (lines that appear and disappear with facial movement). They work by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the muscles, relaxing them and smoothing the overlying skin.

While they are similar in how they work, there are slight differences in their composition and effects, which can translate into slightly different results for individual patients, which you can explore during your About Faces Med Spa consultation.

  • Botox –– Botox remains an extremely popular, injectable treatment that temporarily smooths and reduces fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing muscle contractions. Botox treatments are quick, safe, and effective and may take less than 30-minutes.

DAXXIFY –– One of the hottest new injectables  is DAXXIFY, a wrinkle reducing treatment. DAXXIFY can last up to twice as long as Botox. While other injectables last three to four months, many DAXXIFY patients showed results lasting approximately six months after treatment.

  • Dysport– Similar to Botox and DAXXIFY, Dysport injections are used to temporarily reduce wrinkles and lines.  Dysport works by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the muscles, relaxing them and smoothing the overlying skin.  Some individuals may respond better to Dysport than to Botox or DAXXIFY

Derma Platelet-Rich Plasma PRP

About Faces Med Spa Derma PRP Treatment vials mixing serums

While also considered an injectable, Derma Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is unlike many other injectables because it doesn’t block nerve signals. PRP leverages the body's own healing ability by concentrating platelets β€” cells crucial for tissue repair β€” which can stimulate collagen, promoting new blood vessel growth, potentially reducing wrinkles and improving skin tone and texture. Plus, since it uses your own blood’s platelets, there's minimal to no risk of allergic reactions. PRP has many benefits, including:

  • Improved Skin Texture and Tone

  • Reduced Scars, Including Scarring from Acne

  • Enhanced Skin

  • Accelerated Healing

  • Reduction of Dark Circles and Puffiness

  • Hair Restoration
